. . .it has been a while since i have posted and no, there aren't really any good reasons as to why that is. . .until now, but yet here i am posting. the hard drive in my laptop is officially dead (it doesn't spin at all), so i am not the happiest camper at the moment. i just rebuilt it over the weekend and everything seemed to be working alright, but as i was attempting to restore all of my mail accounts i realized that the backup did not contain those files. even though i had requested the folder be copied twice, for some reason it never happened. that being said, if you don't hear from me. . .it is probably because i don't have your email address memorized and now i can't just hit reply.
i've been asked several times to post my comments on the ncaa football championship game. now that the game is safely out of everyone's mind, i'd like to say that osu looked very much out-coached and out-played. sure there were a couple of generous placements for florida by the refs in the first half and without ted ginn the offense was limited and not able to spread the defense out very well. all-in-all, they deserved to lose that game, but shouldn't have lost by that much.
i'm getting old (so are you). . .and my children keep reminding me of this fact. sometimes they remind me with their actions but recently it has been a verbal assault. a couple days ago, landon told auburn that i could turn the light in the basement on because i was really old (he is still confusing height with age). he went on to tell her that i was the first man on the earth.
the little bubs is walking more and more. earlier this week he took 3 steps to get to me and 4 to get to nic. he is starting to say "dada" more and more each day and still has a classic smile for me anytime i look at him.
more (sooner or) later. . .
peace and java
