my daughter is really into driving a toy dashboard fire engine at grandpa and grandma's house. to remind us of this, she will say "drive at papa's" and act like she is driving an invisible steering wheel.
the other day i was in charge of getting the kids in the car while nicole took care of some last minute details (why do we call them that since they always take longer than a minute?) and i accidentally forgot to strap landon into his car seat. fortunately, we were only going a couple of neighborhood blocks in a residential zone (so we weren't going too fast), but he kept saying "whoa" as if the wife was driving like a maniac. eventually he asked us if we could stop somewhere and strap him in. we probably shouldn't have laughed about this, but if you were there you would've laughed as well. . .after you called the police.
more later. . .
peace and java
