i heard a comedy routine years ago in which the comedian was monologue-ing about the differences between little girls falling asleep and little boys falling asleep and he mentioned that one time after telling his son that it was time to go to bed, the son said, "haven't got time, dad. i've got to play!"
i had a very similar experience last night. we were in the elem gym after the summer bible conference service and the warrior child was running around and playing with a softball and hoola hoop. since he had talked about seeing grandpa earlier, i asked him if he wanted to go find grandpa. his response: "no, i have to play".
funny that the american league won the all-star game. . .especially when you note that half of their teams are below .500 and only 6 of 16 national league teams are sub .500 and upper nl teams have better records than upper al teams.
dodgers still on top of nl west - 2nd in nl and 3rd overall in mlb. 8 game winning streak keeps them as the hottest team in baseball. st. louis is the next hottest team with a 3 game streak. coldest team is aridzona (9 game losing skid). go dodgers.
yesterday i was asked: "do you know how to balance the sound in headphones in a mac". . .i'm almost insulted.
