ah, the time of year when lockers can't be opened and a big mess in the hallway requires no urgent attention. the first day of school. only a half day, so i didn't get through all of my class policies. odd that i was able to last year. this year i didn't even get to the baby giraffe story. tomorrow is a full day and much to get done.
students seem to be more optimistic this year than last. . .but maybe that is just my perception.
