i've been somewhat fascinated/preoccupied with rss feeds recently. i got excited about rss a few months ago and started using mozilla thunderbird for organizing my feeds. what has me geeked about them now is the new wave of audio downloads called podcasting that takes rss feeds to a new level. i did some research on the how-tos of podcasting last week and have been doing testing (research and development has always been my favorite job) with an ipod mini (named bullet) this week. so it brings me great joy to share rss feeds for our blogs (this blog:
http://www.daveandnic.com/blog/rss.asp and nic's blog:
http://www.daveandnic.com/nicblog/rss.asp).
for those interested in obtaining a free ipod, please follow
these linked instructions. before you freak out and give into the temptation to believe this is a scam (which i did the first 20 times i saw this), let me reassure you that some good friends of mine have already received free ipods through this easy system. basically, you register and complete an offer, then have 5 other people do the same. sounds like a pyramid, but it all stops there for you. the offer i signed up for didn't cost me a cent.
lots of things i need to post, but i lack the time. pictures are coming. site redesign is coming.
more later. . .
peace and java
